Welcome!
This site hasn't had the longest history, but it has moved quite a bit. The original location of the site was on www.freewebs.com. This was a great host, but a combination of excessive ads and limited layout options forced me to move. More recently the site has been hosted with a /buildmy.ws suffix. Server failures prompted me to leave this service. So, this site is currently on its third, and hopefully last, server. As the name suggests, this site contains lots of information about the aviation industry. From the humble beginnings of Wilbur and Orville Wright, to modern day jet airliners like the 787 and A380. I will try to keep the information on the pages of this site as neutral as possible. Since I don't get many chances to take pictures of aircraft, and I greatly dislike having watermarks going across my photos, I will use picturess that I have taken through Microsoft Flight Simulator where possible. Also, I am American so I am often tempted to sway in the direction of American manufacturers. Thus I may have more knowledge of Boeing aircraft than Airbus for example. So enjoy your visit and have a look around. Please make note, some links are broken as this site is never really complete.
Lots To See
There's lots to see and do on this site.
Are you interested in learning more about the parts of an airplane and how they work, then why not check out the Aviation Info page?
If statistical data is more your thing, visit the Aircraft Database.
Don't forget to say "Hi!" to the authors of the websites, books etc. that provided information for my site. Stop by the Sources page to see them.
